FAQs
What kind of foundations/ piling works are required?
A minimum solid level surface must be provided. This can be compacted hard fill material or a concrete slab. The building can also be placed on timber piles and a piling plan can be requested from our team.
Do you offer a Code of Compliance Certificate?
On consented builds we provide a CCC. Otherwise our buildings are designed and built by licensed building practitioners. Built to New Zealand building code
Do I need building consent?
This is determined based on the intended use of the building and other factors. For general guidance, assume that building consent is required if the building footprint is greater than 30m2.
